Every adult and teen that walks through our doors knows something the congregation needs to hear.
The insights discovered, the relationships built, and the affirmations experienced by each person represent the best of what it means to be a part of First Baptist Church. Sharing these insights helps us appreciate one another more – and can lead to vision about God’s plans and future for us.
Our Journey Forward By God’s Call began with the 40 Days of Prayer. On the 40th day, October 8, we ask that every adult and teen who attends worship or programming events at First Baptist join together in the Fellowship Hall at the conclusion of Sunday worship. We will enjoy free boxed lunches from Subway, and then we’ll share our fond experiences around the tables. The results will guide the Vision Team going forward.
This is so important that it will replace most Sunday evening activities for this one Sunday, so that families won’t have to come back to church a few hours later. While adults and teens meet, our kids will enjoy a pizza lunch, movie, and activities led by Kaitlyn Thompson.
