We've have significant connections to outposts around the world, going back generations. Today, we remained committed to sharing from our strengths that others may become equipped for health and opportunity.

MACAU, CHINA
Larry and Sarah Ballew make friends among the service industry workers of Macau, teaching English as a second language, providing home gatherings and Bible studies, and introducing the Gospel message. We support them directly with prayers and financial assistance, and by occasionally sending teams for short term projects.
 

RISE AGAINST HUNGER
Through Rise Against Hunger, folks of all ages come together in our Fellowship Hall to purchase and assemble20,000 or more ready to cook meals for shipment to Haiti each January. These meals contain nutritional supplements to help hungry families.
 

PARTNERSHIP MISSIONS
First Baptist has long term partnerships with the Baptist General Association of Virginia for outreach and ministry across the state, and with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in missional settings around the globe.  We support both through a significant portion of our annual budget, and through special offering emphases.
